National Account Manager

The National Account Manager is the primary contact for Regional Field Managers/ Field Managers. Assigned Account Team members will be trained, managed and mentored by the National Account Manager.

Your role & responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Serve as a day to day contact for field force

  • Able to translate and understand client’s business challenges, and create strategic experiential (& integrated, where applicable) plans to solve or improve business performance, demonstrated through clearly defined and measurable results

  • Ensure excellent customer service levels throughout field team and all agency touch points

  • Ensure that budgets are sufficient at the start of each client engagement, and that during each engagement, field team members are staying within appropriate ranges of profitability, while always delivering highest quality service and product

  • Find opportunities to maximize client budgets

  • In conjunction with Regional Field Managers, determine staffing needs by market and work with talent acquisition team to ensure proper staffing and training needs are met for all events  

  • Responsible for the direction, growth and development of all members of the assigned regional field personnel  – including but not limited to performance reviews, goal setting, professional education, motivation and engagement

  • Determine ways to incorporate and develop best practices for event management

  • Ensure company systems are up-to-date for client requirements

  • Manage national client budgets

  • Ensure that field managers provide clients with event recaps as well as a flow of key learnings and recommendations that improve their business and lead to closer partnerships with the agency

  • Ensure all details required for client reconciliations and work with appropriate staff to ensure timely delivery to client

  • Maintain on-going relationship with clients after the initial “sell-in” phase continue to grow existing client business

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Speak fluent Spanish

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Operations, or a related field a plus

  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing experience, experiential marketing experience a must

  • Managing direct report(s), coaching and developing their talent and skills, resulting in qualified growth

  • Excellent writing, copyediting and general communication skills

  • High level of detail-orientation and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be a problem-solver, someone who can figure out how to get things done

  • Must be able to motivate and inspire high performance by modeling leadership and preparedness
